Tucked away on a calm pedestrian street in hip Russafa you’ll find Carbonell Ceramics who is making waves in the Valencian ceramic world. Young and talented artisan Alvaro (Carbonell) is the third generation of ceramists in the family to continue the Carbonell tradition who is adding an edgy twist to the traditional craft.

Walking into this store is such a unique experience where you’ll find yourself surrounded by beautiful one-off pieces (all of which you will want to buy) set against an elevated but cosy backdrop. At the back of the space you can watch the artist work, you can even explore your inner-artisan and take pottery classes which are hosted daily.

Post Covid, Carbonell will be able to start up his regular events again for art enthusiasts who would like to visit the store, simply hang out and enjoy an aperitivo.
